Perspectives from the OR: Keeping Patients Safe
This one contact hour nursing continuing education course outlines current standards and practices to increase patient safety in the OR. There is an emphasis on Universal Protocol, as directed by the Joint Commission. This course offers healthcare professionals information about specific ways to reduce medical errors, and presents useful information about how AORN (Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses) provides perioperative nurses with a variety of tools to help increase patient safety.
Passing score for all post tests is 75%.
