Acute and Chronic Pain: Assessment and Management
Assessment of pain is now considered the critical 5th vital sign. This comprehensive nursing continuing education course outlines current assessment and management techniques and includes valuable information about different types of pain, addiction issues, and myths about pain management. This four contact hour online nursing education course partially meets the Oregon State Board of Nursing's requirement for education on pain management. This online nursing course also meets the Michigan requirement for pain and symptom management.
